Connect to Microsoft 365 with own Azure app

The following article will explain how to connect Data Discovery with your Microsoft 365 environment using your own Azure app.

Supported Microsoft 365 service: Exchange Online, SharePoint and OneDrive.

  1. Go to Data Discovery by Cookie Information and login
  1. Then go to the Integration page
  1. Click Connect on the Microsoft 365 service that you wish to connect to.
  1. Click Connect with own credentials(4a) and fill out Client Id and Client Secret of your Azure app(4b).

​OBS: If you do not have an Azure app you can follow this guide on how to create your own application in Azure or use quick connect

  1. Click Save
