Learn what a root domain is.

Updated over a month ago

Root domains are the main part of a website's address, excluding subdomains and specific pages. A root domain does not include prefixes like www or subdomains like blog.example.com. Let’s say you have a website on the domain http://www.example.com/en, the root domain is example.com.

Cookie Information solution is compatible with a root domain only, also called a second or third-level domain.
